Lake Berryessa Fun!

Last Week we went boating with our friends, The Rasmussen's. It was a lot of fun! Eric and Ryan did some fun water adventures behind the boat. We took videos and had to share...

Happy 4th of July!

We enjoyed our 4th (really 3rd) to the fullest. What a fun day we had!

We started it off at the Allred's 2nd Annual July 4th Pancake Breakfast! So yummy and fun to relax and chat with friends. I think this is a great tradition.

Then we headed off to our little lake for a day of Canoeing, Swimming, Relaxing, and playing in the sand. We went with our friends, The Rasmussen's. They are so much fun...Ryan is very creative...Ryan and Eric would take out the canoes and 2 umbrellas and try to "catch the wind." Wind surfing is what I think he called it. It was so fun to watch. They were out there for a long time. Jessica and I sat on the beach and relaxed almost all afternoon in the shade. The kids had a great time swimming, eating and making sand castles. It was a great afternoon in the sun.

Then we ended the night with making yummy croissant sandwiches and watching a movie "The Box." (Which I didn't like too much). And then right after the movie we drove to see the Fireworks and go there right when they started. The kids loved watching the fireworks. I think they are pretty cool too.

After a fun day like this...we all crashed when we got home!

Happy 4th...we sure enjoyed ours!!!

Is it possible to eat too much...

I love summertime...especially because I get to eat LOTS and LOTS of fruit!

I love fresh fruit. I can eat it all day...is it possible to eat too much????????

Our Summer so far...

So far our Summer has looked like this...

Sleeping in until 9am! All of us...it is so nice!

Chores..well I really try to get them to do their chores.

Laundry/Dishes/Weeding the flower beds for my chores.

Movie Day...I saw Eclipse (loved it) and the kids saw Toys Story 3 (They liked it too).

I can't wait. Only 31 more days to go!

And then maybe a Boating/Camping trip before school starts!

Then school starts Aug 17th for both kids!
WHAT am I going to do without kids at home???

Our summer is going by fast already...but WE can't wait for this next month of FUN IN THE SUN!

Derby Cars!

Our ward did a Ward Derby this year since we only have 2 cubs. So we got two cars to make. Eric helped the kids make their cars, paint their cars, and added the lead to their cars. I helped put the stickers on!

Eric was out of town..so I took the kids. They were super excited to race. Both the kids won a few... lost most...but that was ok. It was a fun time. Easton loved sitting at the end of the track and stopping the cars.

Best of all...the donuts!

Free Bowling!

Free Bowling...can it be?

The bowling ally in Lakeport does free bowling during the summer for all students. The kids can bowl one game per day for each day of the summer! (Including Shoes)...so that is right...we walk in bowl a game and leave without paying anything! Ok I did bowl this time with them. And of course the arcade games take a few dollars after bowling. The kids had a great time! Gotta Love Summer Time!

Happy Father's Day, Daddy!

Eric LOVES Fire! So for Father's Day I got him the heaviest, deepest fire pit I could find. The kids and him tried it out that night. The kids love fire as much as Eric does.

Brooklyn's Last of 1st Grade!

Brooklyn was so excited for the last day of 1st grade.

She was excited for summer to finally begin.

She got new glasses for reading at the end of the school year. She was so excited to show them off to her teacher. Isn't she cute?Brooklyn and Mrs. Addis.

She was an Amazing, great teacher! She really pushes her students to be their best.

Brooklyn did great for a 1st grader. She was right on track. Brooklyn's award for 1st grade "The best helper!"
She was always helping Mrs. Addis, other students, & in the lunchroom cleanup(to get "howls" which means a chance to wins toys in a drawing.)
