Brooklyn's 6th Birthday Party!

Brooklyn had a great birthday weekend! Here are some of the photos from the birthday party---Girls Only! We made homemade lipbalm (Thanks Michelle for Teaching the girls), we painted a flower frame, made a bead bracelet, my homemade tough Pinata (it took some good muscles to break...but they had fun), Cake & Ice Cream and then they played for a little while. It was a fun party. Brooklyn had 9 friends come. She was in heaven!

It only took 5 hours total and it is done...was it worth it?

Was it worth saving $15..I think so. I actually enjoyed making it. It was fun! I just hope I didn't make it too hard...we will see!

The things we do to save money! I am making 2 pinata's...one for Brooklyn's Party and one for Easton's. I did step 1 today...only 3 more layers to go and then decorate!!!

It actually was fun and relaxing. Easton was taking a nap and Brooklyn was at a friends house...it was nice and quite!!! Just how I like it! Step 2...once it dries!

My little girl is getting so big!

Brooklyn had to make a leprecon trap for school! She made it with Daddy. She nailed all the nails in and she loved it. Then she primed the box herself and then spray painted it pink. Then she decorated it. She was so excited! She was a little sad because no one caught a leprecon..maybe next year!

My little girl lost her first tooth! And she pulled it out by herself. I didn't even know it was that loose until she showed me and then within 10 minutes...it was out! She was so excited for the tooth fairy to come that she just pulled out! The tooth fairy came and gave her $2. (Better than my $.25 when I lost my teeth)

Brooklyn wanted a girly birthday party. So this week we made her invitations. Then last night Brooklyn helped me put the glitter on them. It was really fun. I love my cricut machine..so many posssiblities. Can't wait for her party next weekend...it should be fun!

I finally joined Face Book and I am...

CONFUSED! I don't understand it. I am sure I will as I explore more...I just went into it not knowing anything about facebook. It is amazing how many people I recognize and know or did know. Many from Utah and High School.
