Memories

I found this on my friends blog...I thought it would be fun.

Directions.
1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.

These were the replies I got back:

Hey! Too many memories to choose. The walking to the mall and shopping alot, to climbing down the hill between our houses, and your awesome family taking me to lake powell a couple of times. Those are just some of the many! Thanks for always being my friend!

Remember when we used to work at the photo lab and when people would drop off disposable cameras that weren't all the way used. We would take ridiculas pictures of ourselves and then save them! I still have those pictures. Those were the good ole days!

Lake Powell is one of my favorites, when your dad threw Lucy over the boat when we wanted to meet those boys, so funny. Also, driving around in your red van, love those good old days.

I remember Lake Powell as well. All those PPI's with your dad! I also remember the Faith Hill concert I never made, and asking boys to dances together. We used some good ones!

Hey...I am the coolest Young Womens President Ever...Jk. We are so lucky because we have an awesome Brother in our ward that hooked us up with free Carrie Underwood tickets last night. It was the day we got home from girls camp..so it was busy day...but sooooo much fun! I was able to take all my YW that went to camp. So there was 10 of us in all. And we also saw a few girls from the stake that joined us. Carrie Underwood was sooo amazing. She is so talented and fun to watch. She talked a lot and even ate a bug while singing. She kept laughing through half the song because she ate the bug. At least we knew she wasn't limp singing. It was so fun dancing and singing. We all had a great time. She told us that she was in love..with her dog! She was fun and we really enjoyed the show! One gentlemen behind us made the comment "It is nice to see young people having good clean fun!" The concert ended our camp week perfectly!!!

Girls Camp!!!

This is the beautiful lake that we hiked

Our fun adventure...1o+ mile hike

This was half way through and our final destination was across the lake.

This past week I spent the week in the woods....at girls camp! Yes I went camping. Some know that I don't like to camp. My family spent our camping years on houseboats, not tents! But I will have to admit...I enjoyed it. Only because we had nice bathroom and showers! The camp site's bear didn't visit our camp, only the garbage dumpster..Thank goodness! We did have a family of foxes. They were friendly though. Our stake does girls camp different than when I was a teenage...they do it with levels not wards. So spent my time with the 3rd year (15 yr old) girls. We had the largest group of 17 girls. They were all fun, silly and nice girls. I really enjoyed getting to know the girls in our stake. Our camp theme was "There's no place like home" and my group was the lions. We spent a lot of time doing crafts, skits, certification, alittle bit of swimming, etc.. Our hike was quite an adventure...to say the least. They told us it was going to be a 6-7 mile hike...well it ended up being at least 10 miles and 5 hours. (and without lunch...it was in the car at the end of the hike). One of my girls fell down one mile in and hurt her hip, twisted her ankle and scuffed her leg up. So she was my hero and hiked for 4 1/2 hours in pain! She made it and won the "super trooper hiker award!" It was a bit long and my feet her for days afterwards. What an adventure. The highlight of the week was with our Bishop at testimony meeting. It was so spiritual and nice to be with our ward. We had a fun time! It was a fun week. Grandma Jo came down and watched the kids for me and they had sooooooo much fun. They played, played, and played until they couldn't do it anymore. Girls camp rocks!!!

Brooklyn & Easton's Swimming Lessons!

Brooklyn and Easton have NO fear. They are crazy in the water!
Brooklyn has always been that way & now Easton has followed in her footsteps.

He will just jump in..even though he can't swim really well yet. He doesn't care. They are learning more and more each time we go to the lake or pool.

They love swimming lessons!

I love my waterproof camera...it is fun to take underwater pictures of Brooklyn.

We are having a fun summer all together..
even though the smoke is consuming us!
(Most of Northern California is on fire...
we are living in constant smoke.)
And with this heat..all you can do is Swim to stay cool!
(If the smoke isn't too bad, of course)

4th of July Weekend with Grandmommy and Papa!

We had a great weekend with my Mom and Dad.
They flew in on Wednesday night and we had a fun and busy weekend.
Thursday: We went to our little lake and had a BBQ & canoed around the lake.

Friday: The 4th we went to a small town parade in Calistoga and then to the Napa County Fair. The kids loved the rides, of course. We then drove back home and went back to the lake and did more swimming. Nothing better to do in the heat than swim!

Saturday: We took out our boat and did some wake boarding
and tubing on Lake Berryessa.
We had an great time.

We loved having Grandmommy and Papa visit.
The kids miss them already. Thanks for a great weekend!

Brooklyn without training wheels!

Brooklyn can ride her bike without training wheels!!!!
It only took two trips down to the park and Brooklyn was off riding her bike without training wheels. We are so proud of her. She does a great job. She is getting pretty good at turning really fast! Go Brooklyn!!! We are proud of you!
