Redford Tradition...Candy Trains!

The Redford Family has a family tradition of making Candy Trains at Christmas Time. We have done this tradition almost ever year since we had kids. They LOVE it! This year they got to make their own train...instead of a 1 family train. Our friends, Jimmy and his boys, James and Seth came over last year and this year to make the trains with us. It was a lot of fun! Daddy helped Easton make his train...Easton of course put many of his own touches on it.
I helped Brooklyn...but she didn't need much help. She knew what to do! She was very detailed and even did a circle in the middle with a sour patch kid in the middle and said it was baby Jesus. She spent the most time on her masterpiece!

Easton was happy to be done and eat up the left over candy!
Jimmy with his boys!
Brooklyn finally finished hers. She loved the finished product!
Now they sit until Christmas Eve...and then they can be finally eaten!
Well..I looked today and they have some pieces missing already...little stinkers!
Love this Christmas Tradition!

  1. That is so cute, we have done the gingerbread houses and gingerbread train but the kids hate that it takes so long, I like how you just used all different candies! So fun!

  3. What a fun tradition! I love seeing what other families do. Oh, loved your Christmas card too. We didn't send any out this year due to my perpetual fatness, but I will be sending out baby announcements! Merry Christmas!!! Only 1 1/2 weeks to go until our baby is here!!!!!!
