2 weeks old!

Cooper~2 weeks old!
.....
A few things about our little Cooper...
1. He is a great Baby!
2. He is a great Sleeper...He only wakes up at 3 am to eat...that is right...only once a night...I am one lucky mommy!
3. He already has his own schedule...Naps in the morning, awake time for 2 hours, nap in afternoon for about 3-4 hours, awake, a little nap, and then his fussy time around 8-10. Then he eats and goes to bed until 3am! He has been doing this almost every day. Love it!
4. He likes to be held when he is awake...and when isn't he likes to cry and then scream. When he is really mad he moves his hands up and down REALLY fast. I know he is mad then!
5. He already has had his first bad diaper rash...thank goodness that is over. He was a good trooper through it...he just didn't like being rinsed off in the sink with each diaper change. He also is getting on a better stool pattern...last week it was every 10 minutes..we went through LOTS of diapers in his first week!
6. He smiles while he sleeps and it is so cute! I love seeing his dimples!!!!
7. He is already regained his birth weight and more...he is just over 8 lbs! He is a great eater!
8. He is one strong boy...he holds his head up really well!
9. He still doesn't like bath time.
10. He loves to lay by the fire with Daddy!
11. He always has hiccups. Especially after he eats.
12. He doesn't like the flash from the camera...imagine that.
.....
Cooper is one great baby and we are enjoying every moment...we couldn't imagine our family without him now!

Quilt is finished!!!!

I am so proud of myself...I actually finished Brooklyn's quilt before Cooper was born. It turned out sooo cute! I love it. I made a matching square pillow and my mom made a matching round one. I love the matching pillows! I am glad we did them. So cute! Brooklyn loves it too!!!!

Our Tree...

It officially feels like Christmas around our house! I love a glowing tree!!!!!

Kelseyville Light Parade

Last year our friends, The Morgan's, invited us to the Kelseyville Light Parade. It was so much fun that we have made it a family tradition now to go every year. It was last Friday night. We almost didn't go because of Cooper. I was going to bundle him up nice and warm and take him but Eric said no way. (Next year he will be able to join us). So Eric stayed home with Cooper while my mom and I took Brooklyn and Easton. We met up with our friends and enjoyed the parade. It was one fun parade! My mom kept saying..."I love small towns!" I think the parade was even better this year than last. And much warmer than last year too! Brooklyn and Easton's favorite part was all the candy they would throw out. I enjoyed the hot chocolate! Brooklyn was our photographer and took almost 100 photos.
.....
These were our favorite floats.

I love this time of year!

Dear Santa...

Dear Santa Claus,

My name is Brooklyn.

I am seven years old and I live in HVL.

I have been so good in class.

For the world, I would like no fights at all.

For my family, I would like a new baby.

For me, I would like a doll house.

I will leave you Oreo Cookies.

Love, Brooklyn

Brooklyn's Thankful List

Brooklyn did a Thankful List at school...I love to document these cute memories.

What I am Thankful For

Written By Brooklyn, November 2010

1. dog and cat

2. Our food

3. God

4. Horses

5. Books

6. Art

7. School

8. Our sun

9. People

10. Toys

I had to laugh..we don't have a cat. I was impressed that she was thankful for God. That was neat. I guess #11 would have been her Mom, Right? Or at least her Family!
