Brooklyn said we had to post a picture of the playset for Grandma. So here it is. Phase 2 is done. The hardest part... I might add. All is left is building the boarder around the perimeter and then adding 5 yards of playground chips. Almost done..Yeah!!! The kids love it. They love eating up in their "tree house" (Sway proof..she can't steal their food). Thanks Daddy for spending so much time building it for the kids!

My crazy weekend!
My Saturday was full of excitement!
I started off by going to a yard sale and it was a good one. I just wish I had been there 1/2 hour before because I saw lots of "saved" stuff that I really wanted and it was really cheap! But I did get a few good things.
Then I went to our youth waterski trip. It wasn't too hot but the kids were ok. It was sunny but only around 70 and breezy! You would never get me in that water unless it is over 90. Everything was going well until someone said a boat SANK. I couldn't believe it and I had to see for myself. So I walked o the ramp and sure enough the NICEST MOST EXPENSIVE NEWEST WAKEBOARD BOAT WAS GONE! It was 100% under water. All the seats floated up but no boat in site. I couldn't believe it.
This is what happened...First of all they had a few extra bodies on board because the driver didn't count his small children on board. He had 3 on a tube and they stopped the boat. A few teenagers were standing at the back of the boat on one side and no one was on the other side. And a wave came in on that side where the weight was and took the boat down instantly. Everyone jumped off and swam to shore. It was gone! Just like that. Luckily they were only 50 feet from shore and everyone had a life jacket on except the driver and one girl 18yr old that could swim fine.
So now the fun begins of...How do we get it off the bottom of the lake? I felt so bad for the owner. He was a young guy and he was so frustrating. (The boat was basically brand new and worth over $50,000. Crazy.) So they drove down and hooked a ski rope to the boat and another boat pulled it toward the ramp as far as he could. Then they pulled it forward with a truck until it reached the trailer which they had put in the water pretty deep. Once they hooked up the crank to it from the trailer they were able to bring it forward and some of the boat was sticking out at this point. But it wouldn't stay on the trailer because it was floating and still under water. So they then pulled it out of the water a little bit until they could start bailing the water out of it. At this point it was easy and they were relieved. It took 2 hours to do this process. A few awesome strangers were the main help and they were great!!! They couldn't have done it without them and their big truck. We then left the activity! The excitement was done!
Then I came home. A couple hours later...I heard a helicopter circling my house multiple times and sirens from firetrucks. I went outside and noticed that across the street and 5 lots down there was a fire on the levy. They put it out immediately and I was relieved. It was a breezy day so that made me a little nervous. In Utah I would say that is no big deal...but here in Cali...that little of a fire can destroy every home in sight. Luckily our community makes everyone cut their weeds down to the dirt and they just did that on the levy this week. It was a good thing! We get dry weeds that are about 2-3 feet tall that just burn like fuel. So that was exciting!
We then finished the night at the Lakeport Speedway. It was alot of fun. A little boring at first while they did the first races but then by the end they were doing the final races and they were better. And then they had the demolition derby with trucks. It was fun. It just didn't last long enough. But it was still fun to watch. The kids didn't do too well. They were bored and wanted to go home. Next time they will stay home. I thought they would like it...since they love "cars" but oh well. I think the kids did better when they were younger at the speedway. It was still a fun night. We went with our friends, Steve and Erin. So we had good company!
So we got home late and this morning I woke up at 9:20 oops. Church started at 9am. So we played hookie today and took it easy. Next...Reading & Nap time!
What a weekend!!!! At least I will remember this one. I took pictures with my cell phone of the boat...I am not sure if I can get them off though. I will try and post them if I can.

School is almost over...yeah!
Even though we still have two weeks of school...Brooklyn had her open house where she can show us all the projects they have done. She was so excited. We first hit the book fair to get a new book! She picked a barbie collection. I don't mind buying books...better than toys. She then took us to her room to show everything! I can't wait for school to be over so we can have fun!
Brooklyn painted a self portrat of herself.
Her's is the middle one on the bottom row.
She can name them better than me!
She grew a sunflower plant.
Brooklyn with her teacher, Mrs Bazzano. She is a great teacher!
Their "Rain Forest"
Their Flower Garden with butterflies.
Their Story book. It is cute to read their little stories.
Claire slept over while her Mom and Dad were on the Stake Trek. So I set up a tent in the family room. Brooklyn and Claire slept in there. Easton took a late nap and couldn't fall asleep so he ended up in my room. (That it is his norm anyways)

Update...
New strawberries are growing and I am hoping the deer stay sway!
I spent an hour and half swinging in my swing the other day! I finally did it! It was nice weather outside and I had to lay down (for girly stomach pains)...so no better place than outside in the warmth. I talked to my sister-in-law on the phone...it was quite relaxing!
I planted more flowers outside. They look really nice. My flowers are doing really well. I will take a picture and post it later!
I did a 5K on Saturday. Mainly walked. I could have ran more but my friend, Julie and I decided we would do it walking. It wasn't on pavement...so I would rather walk fast. I have been starting to run alittle bit. I like to Run for one Ipod song and then walk one Ipod song. I run out of breath too easily. Next time I will run more. On a postive note...next time I am sure I can beat my walking time!!!!
My kids are quite the swimmers! I am so proud of them. We have gone to the swimming pool twice now and also our friends house that has a little kids 3 ft round pool. Brooklyn loves the water and now can swim enough to get around without help! Yeah. She loves to jump off the diving board at the pool! She even was trying to touch the bottom of the pool at 9 ft...didn't quite make it yet but maybe next time! She loves the water! Easton is my scared one. The first time we went to the pool he just held on me unless it was 2 ft from the side and mainly he just glidded into the side. But after visiting our friends pool...he now swims really well and even jumped off the diving board...well he did a great belly flop! But he loved it! Both my kids swim under water and just come up for air. I thought it would be easier to swim with their heads out of the water..but I guess not! They both are doing amazing! I will be taking them to the pool often...I want them to be really good swimmers for our lake powell trip!
We saw the movie UP on saturday. It was cute! The kids enjoyed it. I enjoyed it but don't think I would buy it.
Off to Erics work to deliver Birthday Cake! ICE CREAM CAKE!!!! Yummy!!!! Eric is 31 today! Happy Birthday! The kids made him a birthday poster and put notes in balloons for him. Eric wants to buy his own birthday present...so the kids gave him some candy!
That pretty much wraps up our family! Sorry I have no pictures...next time!

Our life is crazy!
I haven't posted anything lately because I have so crazy busy that I haven't had anything to post about that is fun or time to post. My life is busier than ever. I have so many little jobs but they sure add up to being supper busy! I now babysit a girl Brooklyn's age 3 times a week after school. And between babysitting her and then Claire & Jessica...I always have extra kids at my house. The first thing Easton asks me in the morning is "Who is coming over to play today". Then I still clean at least 2 nights a week. Mutual on Wednesday nights. I do paperwork for Eric's work still. And I run and get supplies for them as well. Then my new hobby...working in the yard! It is a lot of work...and it is addicting. I kept telling myself to stop buying new plants and I kept doing it anyways. Here are some pictures of a few of my projects!
This is my garden..the seeds are coming up..so I did at least one thing right!
I planted Watermelon, cucumbers, Carrots, onions, pumpkins, tomatoes, & Strawberries.
My strawberry plant! I can't wait to eat that Strawberry!!!
My relaxation spot...too bad I don't have time to use it!
I love IVY! I planted this...I hope it keeps growing.
You can't see the flowers to well...but we have lots of flowers planted in the front. You can see my hanging plants on the house and the big rose bushes in front of the house. I just cut off the roses yesterday so you can't see too many..give them a day or so and they will be full again! Just don't notice the grass...we have to plant sod this fall. We tried to plant seed but the birds kept eating the seed and it didn't grow very well..but boy the weeds grew!
I can't wait until they bloom!

More ivy that will grow around the arch...I hope it grows fast..I am too impatient!

The kids playhouse!!! Yeah!!!!!
It is almost done...hopefully tonight!
Good Job Eric! Thank you for putting it together...even though you didn't want to!
They got the play boat on the left (needs some TLC though),
Trampoline (which they love) and now the playset!!!
