This is it...very unique...but we like it! One of a kind for sure!

The kitchen...A little small but later we might just expand!

The shop! Eric's favorite area of the house.

Master Bath Sink Vanity. I love it! It is made from an antique dresser!

Brooklyn's room. She has her own walk in closet and bathroom. Already spoiled! I think we might change the color, what do you think?

Our new boat! JK They turned an old boat into a kids play boat. It needs a little TLC but it will be fun!

Hot tub/pool area.

Waterfall in the back year. Needs some TLC but someday will be really cool.

Our life is crazy!

The last two weeks have been so crazy! We are still buying a house...just not the one I posted earlier! We saw a house in May that we wanted and we waited and waited until it came available. (These dang foreclosures take forever!!!) Well June, July and Aug passed we got tired of waiting. We felt like it was going to be priced way out of our price range and it wasn't worth waiting for anymore...so we kept looking and found the house that I posted about earlier. It seemed like it was suppose to be our home...well till we found out a few things...no FHA loan, shared well, the builder built it very cheap! We were still going to try to make it work until our Realtor called and said that they had countered our offer that we made two months earlier on the house that we really wanted. So we countered back and that very day we settled on a price! So then we still had two houses..oops & with two Realtors! We were in a big mess. But this house is really the better house to buy....it is larger, 5bed 3 bath, 2700 sq feet, 2700 sq feet of garage/shop/storage space, the builder built it for himself=quality built, landscaped yard, it is on the golf course, pool and hot tub. So we got out of our old contract and signed this one. We feel really good about this house. We can raise our kids here and never run out of space. What a great feeling! We should move by the end of October! Yeah!!! Eric is so excited about his shop! I think that is the only reason he wants the house. Sway is going to love it! She finally will have a yard that she can just roam around in...no more lock ups! Now I get to start the fun stuff...packing!!! Yeah. I can't wait. I am excited about my own craft/scrapbook room in the house. I am so excited. I already have been thinking of what colors I want to paint it and how I want to organize it. I can finally start using all that scrapbook stuff I have! I will post a few pictures later...

Here's the proof!

I think I have a makeup artist on my hands!!!
I did her makeup and she did mine! Don't we look beautiful???

First Day of School for Brooklyn!

Today was Brooklyn's first day of school. I only teared up a little bit. She was excited and walked right in. Didn't even look back to say goodbye. She has a great teacher, Mrs. Bazzano. She is a petite, younger teacher. She is great with this age of kids. Brooklyn loved her first day. She has a friend, Jessica in her class. She was so excited. She said they made cookies today and then ate them. She enjoyed playing outside, eating her snack. They even walked across to the school library and read books. She had a great day! She said her favorite part was Easton and I picking her up from school. How nice! She is growing up so fast. We then went to dance class (tap). She has had a very busy day! Right now...has I type..Brooklyn is putting makeup on my face and brushing my hair. I think I might look like a pink clown (she is only using blush)..but that is ok. She is a girl for sure!

Keith Urban Concert

So last Saturday I went to see KEITH URBAN in concert. It was so awesome. He even did the show with a slipped disk in his back and jet lag. He arrived in San Fran that afternoon from Austrialia. I am sure he was tired...but you never would have guessed. He is such a great entertainer and knows how to put a terrific show on. He is amazing on the guitar and piano. Eric didn't get to go with me...he was in Washington attending his Grandmothers funeral. So I went with Sue and Val from our ward. We had a great time! I didn't take this picture...but it was from the show. Thanks CMT! If you ever can see Keith in concert..you won't be disappointed! He is worth every penny!!!

Our Bahama Cruise Vacation!!!

Bahama Cruise August 2008!

We dropped the kids off at Grandmommies and Papa's and we headed for Florida! We love cruises and we love vacations. So we went to the Bahamas on a 4 night NCL Cruise. It was awesome! The perfect cruise...3 days, 3 islands, lots of food, awesome entertainment. We love the Caribbean/Bahama area. The water is so beautiful...very clear and light blue. It is really breath taking. We had a great time and enjoyed being with just the two of us. It was a nice way to celebrate our 7th anniversary.

I enjoyed walking around the beaches...but Eric hated the heat. Eric liked driving the scooter around Nassau. It was kind of scary for me...those cab drivers there are crazy. He also enjoyed making an anchor for our floating island.

We visited Grand Bahama Island, Nassau, and Great Stirrup Cape (NCL private island). The private island was the best...BBQ lunch on the beach, free chairs to sit on at the beach, no cab rides to the beach and live music. It was a lot of fun. All except for those Sand Fleas who enjoyed eating me alive. I went home will bumps all over my body and boy did they itch! I had fun shopping at the markets...didn't get much. But it was fun.

In Nassau we got stuck in a 1 hr downpour of rain. The thunder and lightning was so loud...it scared me a few times! We had fun running through the streets in the rain. The water was up to our calf's. We were drenched in water, but it was fun. Then it stopped and it was blue sky again immediately. The weather in the Bahamas is crazy.

We loved our trip and enjoyed our week without the kids. We missed them..but it was nice to leave them with Grandmommy and Papa. They love being with them...so it was a great trade off. Most of our pictures are close up...we had to take them ourselves! Gotta love that technique! If you can get away...this cruise was the best. Not too long and no boring days on the ship (sea days)!
