Cooper 2 Months Old!

This little baby boy has brought SO much JOY and LOVE into our home! We are SOOO in LOVE with him! I think he is just sooo stinkin cute! He makes us SMILE everyday! Cooper has a SWEET spirit. I LOVE this baby stage...he smiles, talks, laughs, & looks at you with LOVE!
*****
He is one GREAT baby! I can't complain at all. He sleeps from 10pm-till about 6am. He doesn't really cry unless he is hungry or wants to be held and loved. He still loves his binky! And I do too. If I am working and almost done..that binky keep him happy until we get home.

At 2 months Cooper:
...
*Weighs 11 lbs...just perfect.
...
He's legs are getting a little chunky...so cute!
...
*He smiles all the time!
...
*He is ticklish...Daddy likes to tickle him!
...
*He "snorts" when he is hungry..Eric calls him a little piggy.
...
*He loves to "talk"...well baby talk. Sometimes it sounds like "hi!"
...
*He loves his hands...especially in his mouth.
They also scratch him often...his poor face. Luckily he heals fast!
...
*He is in his 3 months clothes..no more newborn...
they just weren't comfortable anymore!
...
*He had his first bottle while I working..and he LOVED it!
Probably too much. No problems...he just guzzled it...he didn't have to "work" for it.
He won't get them too often...I don't want him to quite nursing.
...
*He takes great naps in his car seat...I think he likes being warm!
...
*He is getting a little better at nursing. Not ideal...but I can deal with that.

One of my favorite moments so far...
Eric and I were watching a movie and I had just fed Cooper and gave him to Eric to burp. Eric sat Cooper next to him looking towards him. Cooper just smiles, laughed and talked to him for about 10 minutes. It was SOOO cute! We totally ignored the movie for that time...it was a precious moment. You could really see the love in Coopers eyes for his Daddy! It was just too sweet!

I was so nervous to have another baby-"starting over". But it has been great. All the motherly instincts came back naturally. And it has felt right...I can't imagine our family without Cooper! My kids are my world. I am busy doing a million other things but they come first...so that is probably why my "To Do List" is getting longer and longer! (Like painting Cooper's room...I should be doing that right now instead of updating the blog while Cooper is taking his nap!)
Brooklyn and Easton are great helpers. Brooklyn loves to change his diapers (if I let her), hold him, read stories to him. Easton loves to hug him, kiss him, etc...he gets lots of love...maybe a little too much at times!

Can you tell we are in love with Cooper! I hope so...because WE ARE!

Look what I can do now!

Cooper is learning a few new tricks!

My fingers taste good! (maybe not...he always has sweaty hands)

Eric noticed that Cooper didn't open his fingers. He kept them closed, tightly all the time. With his cute little thumb stuck under his fingers. Every time we opened them Cooper would immediately put them back. We were worried they would grow weird..his poor little thumb wasn't straight. I don't think he realized that he could actually use them. So for a couple of days...while feeding him I would stretch out his hands and open them up. Well ever since...he grabs things, puts them in his mouth and don't clinch them tightly anymore. He still will close them but not as tight. And I must add...this fingers are getting a little chunky...so cute!

Kick it! "Oh I can't reach that last one!"

Too Cute!

Cooper a couple of weeks ago when he started to "talk!"

So cute!!! I love this baby stage!

100th Day of School!

Last Tuesday, Feb 1st was the 100th day of school.
Easton had to do a project with 100 items. He decided to make it with Legos.
He did a great job. It was cool!
Hooray for the 100th day...that means we are getting closer to summer break!
