My three babies!

I have had mixed reactions from people to whom Cooper looks like. Most say Easton but some say Brooklyn. I see similarities but mostly I think Cooper looks like himself. He definitely fits in the family look...he is a Redford!
Who do you think he looks like?

Cooper! (Can you see his dimple on his nose!)
Easton!
Brooklyn!
I must brag...We make adorable babies!!!!!!

Which one?

It's time to get my hair done again...What shall I do???
If anyone knows me well...I have a hard time making decisions. Especially what restaurant to eat at and what to order. It frustrates Eric like crazy! He has suggested that I find the menu online and see what I want ahead of time. Anyways...it is time to do my hair again and I am not sure what I want to do...Natural, Remain Blonde, Dark Brown or Eric's suggestion Redish Brown.
I NEED your help and opinion. Which hair color do you like the best? I do like change...I get sick of looking the same all the time. I also like to save money where I can...but I want to look the best I can as well. So I will break down the yearly hair bills for each color.
#1 Natural. My natural isn't blonde...surprise surprise. Ok anyone who has seen me lately knows that. (roots, roots) My natural is a light brown. Yearly Cost: $50 to match and color it the first time to the closest color to my natural.

#2, my favorite, Blonde. Well it is my favorite when it looks like this. The last time I got it done, the blonde didn't take very well (not sure the bleach was left on long enough). I feel like I look younger with the blonde hair. The downside, THE ROOTS! When they start to come in...they drive me nuts! And the cost, Yearly Cost $90 every 2 months, $540/year. That's a lot for hair coloring! I feel like it is worth it when it looks like this...which is for the first month after it is done!

#3 Dark Brown I have gone dark a few times since we were married...it is the easiest transition from being blonde. (Most dramatic and shocking too) It requires less maintenance...you don't notice my light brown roots as much. So it only has to be colored every 3-4 months. So the yearly cost would be $200.

#4 Redish Brown. Eric's suggestion. He said he likes change and he likes red hair. First time I have ever heard that from him. In the past he says he likes my blonde the most. This picture shows a red highlight just because of the sun. But it will give you an idea what it would look like. What do you think? I think the cost of this would be like the darker brown with maybe a little more because of the redish color so I would say maybe $300/year.

Now it is your turn to tell me your favorite! Be honest...I won't be offended. And please don't say "You look great in all of them." Pick one! Thanks for your help!

TO VOTE: SEE THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE SCREEN!

Results:

#1 Redish Brown with 16 votes (53%)

#2 Natural with 7 votes (23%)

#3 Blonde with 5 votes (16%)...6 with my vote!

#4 Dark Brown with 2 votes (6%)

I decided to go blonde again...mainly for this reason...spring/summer is coming and blonde is a better fit. I will go Redish brown in September for the fall/winter. It will be a stretch for me but I will do it!

More cuteness!

Our little cub!
His first time sitting in the bumbo. He loves to look around.
Sometimes it is hard to get him to look at people he prefers to look around at the ceiling and lights! Cooper prefers to be nice and warm. He wears these sweater jumpsuits often!
"Get me out of here!"

Time for church!

A glimpse of the years to come...

A glimpse of the years to come...Brooklyn's Teen Years!
.......
Last week Brooklyn was playing next door and came home looking like this! My first reaction in my head was "Oh NO..not already!" But of course I told her how Beautiful she looked. And she did. Her friend, Ashley's cousin who is 14 did a makeover on Brooklyn. She even did eyeliner and everything. She looked so cute! Brooklyn loved it and asked me to take pictures and post them on our blog...so I am!
.......
The only problem is...Only a few more years and she will be a teenager and look like this. We will be in trouble!

Cooper 1 Month Old!

What can I say? Cooper is just too cute! He totally fits into our Redford family "look." He looks like Eric, Easton and Brooklyn in one. And a little of me...he got my dimples! He has started to smile...which I love! So cute! He smiles the most for Mommy...makes me feel happy! He has started to say a few baby sounds too. So cute!

He is growing...weighing 9.5lbs!

Jan 3rd was a big day...he slept through the night for the first time..from 11pm-7:30am...that is 8.5 hours! I was one happy mommy! He slept 7 hours the next night but then got back into the 4-5 hour pattern. But I really can't complain he wakes up once to eat and then back to sleep he goes. He stays up late though...usually until 10-12pm.

Mommy's only wish...he was a better nurser. He likes to eat...he just doesn't like to work for it. He does this "on and off" craziness. Hoping this improves soon!

We all just LOVE our Cooper!

New Year's SNOW!!!

New Years Day 2011
We woke up to SNOW!!!!
3-4 inches of nice fun, cold snow.
We have lived here for 4.5 years and we have NEVER had snow at our house. Our mountains have had it but never at our house. I was just as excited as the kids to see it!
So beautiful...it reminded me of being home in Utah.
The kids went straight outside to play
(well after we searched for some warm clothes...we don't have snow clothes anymore).

Sledding down the creek hills. I even went down once...it was fun!
The kids had a blast.
Brooklyn with her "New Years Snowman"
A few fun videos of the kids sledding!

That afternoon we went to Eric's work and the kids did more sledding.

Easton said he even got some "air." Sledding is way more fun with Dad!

We LOVED our day with SNOW!

I wonder when the next time we will have snow again...maybe 2015?

PS...I might miss the Snow in Utah but not driving in it!
