My Eastee turns 5!

My baby is 5! I can't believe it. We celebrated his birthday in Utah with the cousins and then on his actual birthday we had a few presents and cake. His big present was a blue cool trek bike. Daddy gave it to him early...so I don't have a picture. I will take one and post it. He had a great birthday!
Happy Birthday my Eastee!!!!!
(The other day he asked me to stop calling him Eastee...so sad...I don't know if I can do it!)

Cousin Bday Party

The kids had a GREAT little party with their cousins. Uncle Ryan and Aunt Dakota came through big time and brought two blow up toys...one an obstacle course and then the boxing ring. The kids LOVED them and played on them for hours. We had all the cousins come and enjoy the fun. We had snacks, decorated cupcakes, did a few egg games (which were Brooklyn's ideas and lots of fun) and then opened presents. It was a great afternoon and the weather was perfect. I sure miss the family fun gatherings! It was a great way to end our trip!

Spring Break in Utah!

For Spring Break the kids and I headed to Utah to spend time with the family. We flew into Vegas where my mom picked us up and then we drove to St George to meet the family. We arrived on Conference Weekend and Easter. We enjoyed watching conference, have a fabulous Easter Dinner and the of course did Easter baskets and an Easter egg hunt. The kids had a great time with their cousins.
....................................
The next day before driving back to Orem (in a fun snow storm..yes in April) we went to their country club swimming pool with Jamie and her kids. The kids loved swimming in the warm indoor pool. They had a blast.
............................
The rest of the week was spent playing with cousins, going to chucky cheese for Dylan's b-day party, and playing in the snow a little bit. I went to the temple with my parents and also had a great afternoon of shopping with my friend Brittney. We had a great time! I love to shop and I got some really cute red high heels. I also got a fabulous pedicure from my sister-in-law Amanda. She does a wonderful job! They still look so pretty and nice!
............................
Friday we had a birthday party with all the cousins. I will post that next. And then we flew home on Saturday. The week went by so quickly. But we had a great time and loved seeing our family and friends! Well be back in August...Yeah for Lake Powell! Can't wait...

Birthday Girl!

My little girl isn't so little anymore...she is 7! I can't believe how fast time goes by. I don't feel old enough to have a 7 year old. Ok I guess I am...I just want to stay 25 forever!
Brooklyn had a great birthday! We do friends parties every other year..so this year was the off year. Brooklyn was a little disappointed but I tried to make our family party special for her. I made spaghetti which was Brooklyn's choice. I decorated the kitchen with balloons and made her a "Happy Birthday" crown. I made a pink cake...also her choice. She loves the pink sugar cookies with sprinkles (from good oh walmart) so I bought those for class. She was so excited to bring a treat in.
Present time... She really wanted a stuffed animal cat that moves and she got one. It is cute. (Mommy won't let her have a real one) She also wanted Zhu Zhu Pets. And she got a few of those. She was a happy birthday girl!

Happy Birthday Sweetie!

Daddy's Way of doing things...

Daddy's solution for fixing Easton's "Biting" his fingernails, cuticles and toenails (yes...I know that is sooo gross!) habit. This kid needs a manicure to fix his poor nails. He has done some serious damage. Easton didn't mind Daddy taping up his fingers and toes...but he was embarrassed when I tried to take his picture. It lasted one night!

Can I play...

I am sooo behind on this blogging thing...I have so many things to post including Brooklyn's 7th Birthday, Tball, and Easter. I promise to catch up next week. (I wish there was a quicker way to upload photos!)
I am in Utah for Spring Break with the kiddos and wanted to share a quick Easton Moment. He is one funny kid. He makes me smile and laugh.

Last Saturday, We flew into Vegas and spent the weekend in St. George with my family. As we walked off the airplane Easton immediately said, "Can we go over and play those video games." He was sooo excited because he loves video games. I looked over and saw the mini casino. I told Easton those aren't video games and kids couldn't play them. Easton then said, "Those are only for Dad's." He made me laugh! And of course, I said "No" they aren't for our Dad! Vegas isn't a kid friendly place..I was glad he never looked at the billboards...I could only imagine what he would say about those. Good thing we only spent 1 hr in Vegas!

I promise I will update next week!
