All I want for Christmas is my....

TWO FRONT TEETH!!!!

Brooklyn pulled out her 2nd top tooth today at church. It has been somewhat loose for a month or so. She was so excited to finally have it out! And of course for the tooth fairy to come tonight.
Now Brooklyn and Easton have the same SMILE!

Isn't that so cute!!!!
For those who don't know...Easton got his two front teeth pulled when he was 3. He was too active as a toddler and killed both of them and then one got infected. So they pulled them out. He looks cute that way.

Kneeboarding

Saturday we took the Youth Boating for the day. Once they left...Brooklyn and Easton had their turn kneeboarding for the 2nd time ever! Easton got up on his knees and was so proud of himself. We were very proud of Him too! (last time he just layed down). He even tried to stand up on the board but fell! He had so much fun!

Easton needs to let go on this clip! He probably drank some lake water....

Go Easton, Go!

Brooklyn tried to get out of the wake last time but couldn't. So this time she did! She was so happy. Good Job Brooklyn!

I have awesome BRAVE kids! We love boating even more now! The only problem is getting them to stop! They could go all day just kneeboarding! Next thing to learn to do...Wakeboard!!! Mommy just needs to find a used kids one first...next year for sure!

PS I really did try to hold the camera still but the boat was so bumpy..sorry it is so shaky!

Without Training Wheels!

Last week Eric worked with Easton to ride his bike without training wheels. Once he gained some confidence..he got it and has done great. As long as we ride to "Elle's" house. So far he is good at going straight and turning wide. Stopping is a different story. He has a few bandaids on his hands! We are proud of him. What a boy!

Quotes from Easton

"That was great...let's do it again!"

"That was awesome."

"Next time I have to do a wheelie..like Brendon." (the neighbor boy)

And Now I have a Preschooler!

Today was Easton's First day of Preschool. He wasn't too excited before but this morning he was. But he did tell me that he "only wanted to go one day and that was it." We dropped Brooklyn off to school first and then took Easton to his school. It is called Alphabet Soup and it is sooo cute. Mrs Connie has done such a cute job with the preschool. Easton went in and found his cubby and then went straight to playing with toys. He has a few friends that go there: Avery, Natalie, and Jackson. So he very comfortable and excited.
I left feeling good. It is weird that my baby is in school. Now what do I do???? Today I was busy running errands for Erics work. So it went by fast. But may I add...It was so nice to shop without a child. It was so much more enjoyable!
So when it was pickup time...Mrs. Luanne said Easton did great! I was so happy to hear that. He can be a little stinker sometimes. I had some concerns. She said they only had one issue with him calling Mrs. Luanne "Mean" because she wouldn't let him play inside instead of outside during lunch/playtime. For Easton that still means he was Great! He was sitting so quite while a teacher read them a book when I went to pick him up. I was so impressed. I think preschool will be really good for Easton. He needs it!
I still am not sure how I feel about being home alone. I know I can work and keep myself busy. I will miss my little boy giving me hugs and sitting on my lap. He has a cute sensitive side that I love...and then he has the all boys side too! He is a complete package.
Easton also started soccer today. His first practice. He did a great job. He learned some skills from when Brooklyn was playing. So this season should be fun...Pictures to come I am sure!
Tonight, I went in to give him a kiss goodnight and boy do I love that kid when he is sleeping. He is sooo cute! One thing is for sure...He is not my baby anymore...he is officially a big kid in school!!!!

I have a 1st Grader!

Today is Brooklyn's first day of 1st grade. Her teacher is Mrs. Addis. We went yesterday to see the classroom, find her desk and meet her teacher. Mrs. Addis is supper sweet and a great teacher. Brooklyn is really excited.
Today she didn't even want to eat breakfast..she just wanted to go to school and be on time. I planned on parking and walking her into class but no way...Brooklyn wanted to be a big 1st grader and just be "dropped off." So that is what we did. And I was instructed to pick her up at the curb and not walk to get her. She is a big girl now and wants to do things like everyone else in school.
She is really excited about 2 recesses. She can't wait to play in the big kids playground and not the kindergarten playground.
I hope she has a wonderful day at school!
Grandma Jo and Dakota gave her this limited too backpack.
She loves it!

"Let's just go"...she says
My little girl is growing up so fast!

A day on the lake!

On Saturday we spent the day on Lake Berryessa with our friends, The Morgan's. It was so much fun. The weather was sunny and hot. Just how I like it. The kids had a great time on the rocky beach, throwing rocks, swimming, tubing and of course eating. We were so proud of Brooklyn and Easton...they Knee-boarded for the first time and did awesome. They loved it and we couldn't get them to stop. Brooklyn finally got hurt before she would quit. I did a 180 when I went and she tried it too. She did a great back flip (not on purpose) and then hit her head on the board. She was sad. But we were so proud of her. She even went outside of the wake. Easton did great too. He liked to lay down on the board. He held on forever. We were amazed. It was so fun seeing the kids have fun. The Morgans have three little cute boys. It was fun going with them. I love boating days!

Our Fighting Boy!

Eric got Easton the best gift ever...Fighting Gloves. He loves them and loves to fight Daddy. Eric bought them for him as a way to keep Easton from hitting other people. So Easton can only hit if he has the gloves on. So far so good. He loved playing with daddy. Daddy is a great sport...he took quite a beating...Eric finally called it quits after awhile....a person can only take so much. What a boy Easton is!

Last week...of our vacation

Last Vacation Entry...This should wrap up our vacation in Utah. After Powell...we spent a day in St. George with my parents and then we headed back to Orem. Tuesday we had a Girls Night Out with all the Girls in my family...Mom, Amy, Jamie, Christy, Myself, and Amanda. We went to Olive Garden and had a wonderful time. It was a fun get together. Wednesday I spent the day at the dentist with Brooklyn and Easton. Brooklyn had a little cavity filled and she did great. Easton on the other hand had 5 cavities...I couldn't believe it. One was a large one so he needed a baby root canal and a cap. I was so thrilled. NOT. So with the help of my friend, Brittney I got him into a Pediatric Dentist and he got his cap and one other cavity filled. He did ok at the beginning. He didn't like the laughing gas on his nose but he kept it on until about half way though the procedure and then he started to scream and kick. It was horrible. They luckily finished. He still has 3 small cavities but we will have to do those another time. The dentist told me that I need to floss his teeth everyday...I was surprised I needed to floss baby teeth. I am lucky to get Easton to let me brush his teeth. But this past week we have done it everyday!! I am so proud of myself and Eric. Hopefully our next dentist visit will go better!

Wednesday Night I went to dinner with my friends, Lyndee and Jenn. We had a great time talking and visiting. We went to Zupas. I love that restaurant.

Brooklyn and Easton being crazy!

The kids had a great time playing at Hayden and Dylan's house.

Thursday we went to the Dino Museum in Lehi. It was a lot of fun. We went with Brittney, Hayden and Dylan. The kids had fun running through the museum. I am not sure how much they learned...they just looked and ran to the next thing. They loved the "Dark tunnel". We probably went in there 10 times. We had lunch and went through again. The kids loved playing in the sand. It was a fun afternoon!

Brooklyn was so happy!
Brittney and I being attacked! Kind-of

Thursday night, I went to dinner with a bunch of girls from Costco: Natalie, Tiffany, Andra, and Carly. We had a nice time visiting. It was fun to talk about old times.

Friday and Saturday I took pictures for everyone. Here are a few I took.

Brooklyn is sassy! She makes me smile.

All the grandkids..I was wiped out after taking their photos.

14 Grandkids under the age of 9. Crazy Morning!

I took my niece. Kenzie's baptism pictures. She was so cute!
Ryan and Dakota's Kids
Mike and Shawna's little boy, Brady. Cutie
Mike and all the kids. He was great and played with the kids
while we took some pictures of the babies.

At Powell, I took Michael and Jamie's family pictures. They turned out cute.

Friday Night we went to Michael and Jamie's House and had a BBQ. It was fun visiting with the family. Saturday we packed up and headed home. The kids loved the airplane. It was funny because when we got off the plane, the Flight Attendant said goodbye to us and Easton yelled with his arms raised up and a joyful voice "That was great!" It was so perfect. He said it right when he was stepping off the plane.

The kids were so excited to see Daddy. We all missed him. He surprised us at home with many surprises. He painted my light purple van-SILVER! I was really excited. He also installed a whole house fan. It is great. I love saving money. Thanks babe!

Our vacation was great...but it is nice being HOME!

Part 3...My Favorite...LAKE POWELL!

LAKE POWELL was WONDERFUL! I loved it. We spent one week there and it went by so fast. The trip had many surprise visitors (Bryant and his kids and then Alex and Amanda came with Cache. They flew in from Carolina.) Michael and Jamie's Family was there all week. Of course Mom and Dad. Bryce and a friend, Steve came for part of the time. And then Paul Golbergs Family (Paul, Katlyn, Jordan, and Danny) came all week. He works with my dad and they live in Minnesota. So all and all we had around 18-21 on the houseboat at one time. It was a lot of fun.

Summary of events:
Monday we shopped and got on the houseboat. We left in the afternoon for our destination (Gunsight). Just our luck...a storm rolls in and it got a little scary. The houseboat was swaying side to side pretty good. The kids loved it! The cupboard doors were flinging open and close. It was really windy and rainy. It luckily stopped in time to tie in and settle the boat in.

Tuesday was a cloudy day...I was a little sad that day. I don't like Powell cold...just sunny and hot! We still had fun in the water.

Wednesday was hot and sunny! Yes!!!!! Alex and Amanda arrived and we went on a boat ride. We had a scary experience with a bunch of young adults that said our boat wave damaged their houseboat. They said the wave caused their ski boat to hit into their houseboat and break their metal gate. Give me a break. They chased our boat down and one guy on a jet ski came 5 feet of our boat. It was scary. We had so many children on board. We stopped and they were yelling at us. My dad called the patrol and they came. But by then the guys took off. It was a scary experience.

Thursday-Friday was hot and sunny again....I was in heaven! We just played and played. The kids had fun cliff jumping. Easton loved it! Easton even tried wakeboarding (once) but the boots were too big. The kids loved the slide. I couldn't even count how many times they went off it. They are at the perfect age for Powell! We relaxed during the afternoon, went on boat rides, went on wave runner rides, swam, wakeboarded, kneeboarded, etc.. Lots of fun!

Saturday was our last day...we made the most of it. We were going all day. We had a great time. We went on a boat ride. I loved riding around and looking at the beautiful surroundings. I think I took it for granted when I was a teenager at the beauty we were surrounded by. Lake Powell is breath taking. The cliff, the colors, the water...there's no place like it. It is just beautiful! Saturday night ended with a bang...A really cool lightning storm. It was so neat. We sat up on top of the houseboat and just watched the lightning strike. Well until it started our way and we had to get the houseboat ready for wind storm. It was really cool!

Sunday we took the boat in and my parents and I stayed one more night on the slip. We just relaxed, cleaned up and I did a High School Musical puzzle with Brooklyn...Which was missing one piece. I hate that.

It was a great trip! I love lake Powell. The Kids loved it! I was in heaven! I missed it just driving away. The beauty, the fun, the enjoyment, the Sun!

Idaho...part 2 of my Vacation

My parents and I went to Idaho for my Cousin, Meghan's Wedding. It was great.
The ceremony was short but sweet! She looked beautiful and really happy.
She was married in the Boise Temple.
They had a family BBQ the night at a park. It was really hot but we still had a great time visiting with everyone. And of course they kids had fun on the playground.
This is me and my cousin, Amy. I was so glad she came.. so I could see her.
4 Generations: My Grandmother, My Dad, Me and the kids.

The kids and I with Grandma and Perry.

We stayed with my Aunt Susan and Uncle Mark.
It was so nice of them to open their home to my crazy kids!
Easton even got a fever of 104 one night. It was scary...I have never felt a child so hot in my life. His whole body was on fire. We gave him a cool bath (which he screamed about) and medicine. It was a little scary for little while. It slowly came down 1-2 degrees and eventually back to normal after two days. He only had a fever no other symptoms...it was the weirdest thing.
We also spend an afternoon at my cousins Courtney's playing with her kids. She has a nice home and her kids are so cute! And she is expecting her 3rd boy this month.
It was a nice weekend!
